About me

I’m Edwina, a Kent-based artist creating original wildlife artwork and commissioned pet portraits inspired by nature and much-loved animals.

I work primarily in coloured pencil and watercolour, occasionally incorporating oil paint and lino print. My work focuses on character, detail, and capturing the small, distinctive qualities that make each subject unique — whether that’s the personality of a pet or the quiet beauty of wildlife.

Alongside my studio practice, I take on a limited number of commissions each year. Each piece is created by hand, with care and attention given to every stage of the process.

Art has been a constant part of my life. After studying art at school, I returned to regular practice during lockdown and have continued to build my work since then. Creating art is where I slow down, focus fully, and connect with what I love most — and that sense of care and intention carries through into every piece I make.
